Jessica Beagley a mother of six, was caught on tape disciplining her adopted son by making him hold hot sauce in his mouth, then taking a cold shower. The reason for this? He lied. The 7 year old boy from Russia can be heard screaming from the shower. Beagley sent the video of herself shot by her 10 year old daughter into Dr.Phil and was displayed on the show. She says she felt she was "out of control" and she was seeking help by doing this. She didnt expect the uproar from the audience members and the parents all around the world.
My opinion on this video is that this mother does not know how to discipline her children. She should not be raising six children if she thought at any point that it was appropriate to put hot sauce in her 7 year old sons mouth etc. I dont think she shoud be aloud to keep her children. She did not have the slightest idea what she was doing was wrong, and was looking for a better way to punish them. In what world is it ok to punish your children by using tourturous methods one viewer desribed as "She doesn't treat him like a son. More like a warden to an inmate. They do that stuff to interrogate prisoners." Therefore I think the children should be taken away from their mother.
